Meet Amrita
Registered Clinical Counsellor
My hope is that you feel less alone and more connected; less fearful and more fulfilled.
For 12 years, I have worked with individuals and families to strengthen relationships, alleviate anxiety, cope with life/work transitions, and build self connection and confidence.
I love to help my clients tune out the noise that can overwhelm us, and find a deeper clarity. Together we can unlearn the patterns that have been holding you back, and create a life aligned with your values. My clients say that my approach is genuine, kind, collaborative, and empowering.
My clinical experience includes working with clients as well as training and supervising community support workers in the areas of attachment and complex trauma. I have also developed groups on topics including self-esteem, stress management, positive parenting and effective communication.
As a woman, POC, and young professional, I know what it's like to navigate different identities, roles and demands. I have found that the constellation of who we are as people can be the source of transformation, resilience, and creativity. However, it can feel overwhelming to balance everything while staying true to your values. Together we will co-create a safe, non-judgmental space where we can address your issues openly, with curiosity and care.
